1. Information only, not medical advice. EnSurf publishes general educational information about health, metabolism and mitochondria. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it isn't a substitute for care from your own qualified clinician. Don't start, stop or change any treatment, medication, supplement, fast or diet based on this site without talking to your clinician. In an emergency, call 911.
2. No doctor-patient relationship. EnSurf is written by Val Zudans, MD, a Florida-licensed ophthalmologist. Reading the site, emailing us or suggesting a topic does not make you his patient or create a doctor-patient relationship. EnSurf LLC is separate from Zudans Eye, and we don't give individual medical advice through the site.
3. No guarantees. Health science changes, and studies can be wrong or incomplete. We try to be accurate, but the site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Your results may differ. Statements about dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and these products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
4. How we make money: links and our store.
- Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Some links to Amazon are affiliate links: EnSurf LLC is the Amazon Associate and earns from qualifying purchases made through them, at no extra cost to you.
- MDVite. Some pages link to MDVite. mdvite.com is owned by EnSurf LLC, the company that runs this site, which Dr. Zudans owns. EnSurf LLC earns money from MDVite sales.
- We mark these links on the pages where they appear. A link or mention isn't a promise that a product is right for you.
5. Other websites. We link to sites we don't control, including Amazon. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there, and we aren't responsible for their content, products or practices.
6. Our content. The essays, images and design on EnSurf belong to EnSurf LLC or its licensors. You may read and share links, and quote short passages with credit and a link back. Please don't copy whole pages, republish our content, or use it to train AI models without our written permission.
7. Using the site fairly. Don't misuse the site: no hacking, scraping at volume, spam, malware or anything unlawful.
8. Your submissions. If you send us a topic suggestion or other message, our Topic Suggestion Terms apply.
9. Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
10. Age. The site is intended for adults. You must be 18 or older to submit a topic suggestion.
11. Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, EnSurf LLC and Dr. Zudans aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any harm from relying on the site's information. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Law and disputes. Florida law governs these terms. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts for Indian River County, Florida.
13. Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.
