Privacy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to information when you use ensurfer.com. EnSurf is a reading site: there are no accounts and no comment forms.

What EnSurf does not do

  • No analytics or visitor tracking scripts.
  • No advertising trackers.
  • No cookies set by EnSurf's own pages.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical details your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers that information.

Homepage video

The video on the home page was created with Grok Imagine and is stored on and played from this site itself. No outside video service is involved.

Site search

Search runs inside your browser. When you search, your browser downloads small index files from this site and finds matches itself. Your search words are not sent to EnSurf or to a search company.

Surf Shop

The Surf Shop page asks MDVite's store for the current price and stock of the products shown. If you choose to buy, your browser talks to MDVite to start a cart, and stores a cart code from MDVite in your browser's local storage on this site so the cart can continue. That code stays on your device; EnSurf does not receive it. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. Checkout, payment, and shipping happen on MDVite's website under MDVite's privacy policy.

Amazon and other links

Surf Wax pages link to products on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you follow one of those links you are on Amazon's site, and Amazon may use cookies to record that you came from EnSurf. Amazon's privacy policy applies there.

Essays link to research papers and other websites, and two Sage pages show sermon videos played from Subsplash. Those sites, and the Subsplash player when a page with a video loads, follow their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies.

Topic suggestions

If you suggest a topic, we keep your suggestion and, if you give them, your first name or nickname and email. EnSurf LLC stores this with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. To help review suggestions, we send them to a third-party AI service, which sorts and summarizes them; a person makes the final choice. We use your email only to tell you when we cover your topic, unless you also sign up for our newsletter. We keep suggestions for up to 12 months, then delete them. We don't sell your information. Please don't include health information; if you do, we may delete it. To have your suggestion or email deleted, write to ensurfbio@gmail.com. The suggest page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare's anti-spam check, which runs in your browser and sends Cloudflare technical details (such as your IP address and browser type) so it can tell people from bots; Cloudflare handles that information under its Turnstile privacy policy.

Email list

If you sign up for the email list, EnSurf stores your email address and the date you signed up in a database on Cloudflare. Nothing else is stored with it. Your address is used only to send EnSurf updates, and it is never sold or shared. You can unsubscribe at any time with the unsubscribe link in any EnSurf email, or by writing to ensurfbio@gmail.com. When you unsubscribe, your address is deleted.

If you sign up for the EnSurf newsletter, EnSurf LLC keeps your email in a database hosted by Cloudflare and uses it only to send the newsletter. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and we remove you promptly when you use it. We don't sell or rent our list.

Email

If you email EnSurf, I receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply.
